How long will I be in hospital after my surgery?

Hospital stays will vary from patient to patient.  In general you should expect to stay in hospital for 2-4 days following a hip or knee replacement.  Patients who’ve had an ACL reconstruction will be discharged home the next day after their xray.  Knee arthroscopy is a day procedure and patients will go home the same day as surgery.
